Monica Russo is the senior vice president and chief operations officer for MaineHealth. During her 20+ year tenure, she has had the privilege of leading teams through transformative initiatives by fostering a culture of inclusivity and innovation. Aligning with the vision of working together so our communities are the healthiest in America, Monica has partnered with leaders and care team members from across the system to enhance access to primary and specialty ambulatory care. Recognized for her dedication to the system’s core values, Monica is the recipient of the distinguished Francine Rideout Service Excellence Award.

Monica earned a master’s degree in healthcare administration from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia and is a fellow with the American College of Medical Practice Executives.
