Fawn Lopez

Publisher Emeritus of Modern Healthcare

A Grant for Women Leaders to Attend the 2024 Modern Healthcare Women Leaders Conference

Fawn Lopez and co-authors of “Unstoppable: Inspiring Stories of Perseverance, Triumph and Joy from Trailblazing Women in Healthcare” have created a Women in Leadership Fund managed by The Carol Emmott Foundation. Proceeds from the book directly contribute to the fund to support crucial initiatives aimed at empowering women in the healthcare industry.

In 2024, two grant winners were awarded $1,500 each to facilitate participation in the Women Leaders in Healthcare Conference in Chicago. Hosted by Modern Healthcare and supported by the Carol Emmott Foundation, this event promises to be a valuable opportunity for professional development and networking in the healthcare industry.

Attendance at this annual event aligns with the charitable purpose of The Carol Emmott Foundation and fosters women leaders’ access to invaluable exposure, knowledge enrichment, and expansive networking opportunities.
