Samantha Coleman, Fellowship Co-Facilitator

Samantha Coleman, Ph.D., partners with the Carol Emmott Foundation to strengthen leadership capacity and advance inclusive practices within healthcare. She is a leadership development consultant, executive coach, and educator whose work helps people act with authenticity, build psychological readiness, and navigate responsibility with clarity and intention.

Drawing on her leadership development work at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where she designs and facilitates high-impact adult learning and coaching experiences, Dr. Coleman brings practical insight into how individuals grow, make decisions, and perform under pressure. Her approach centers on developing psychological capital—hope, efficacy, resilience, and optimism—as foundational capacities for work in high-stakes, human-centered systems.

Dr. Coleman has worked with individuals at all levels, from mid-career professionals to senior executives, across Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 organizations and mission-driven sectors, including healthcare, higher education, and social impact. In her work with CEF Fellows, she co-facilitates development experiences that integrate evidence-based frameworks with practical application—supporting Fellows in expanding influence, strengthening visibility, and sustaining impact across healthcare organizations.
