Dr. Laura Hendricks-Jackson has over twenty years of health care knowledge and experience in an array of areas to include the acute care setting, academic setting and the community/public health setting. Before joining Sibley Memorial Hospital/Johns Hopkins Health System, where she is currently employed, Dr. Hendricks-Jackson spent over a decade at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland and held numerous progressive nursing roles. Dr. Hendricks-Jackson has a joint appointment at the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing and is a Nurse Residency Program on site evaluator for the Commission on Collegiate Nursing (CCNE). Dr. Hendricks-Jackson received her doctorate degree (Doctor of the Nursing Practice) with a concentration in Executive Leadership from Drexel University and she holds a Master’s Degree in Nursing Education. She is an inductee of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society for Nursing and is a graduate of the Baldrige Executive Fellowship Program.
