Dr. Laura Hendricks has over twenty years of health care knowledge and experience in an array of areas to include the acute care setting, academic setting and the community/public health setting. Before joining Sibley Memorial Hospital/Johns Hopkins Health System, Dr. Hendricks spent over a decade at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland and held numerous progressive nursing roles. Dr. Hendricks has a joint appointment at the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing and is a Nurse Residency Program on site evaluator for the Commission on Collegiate Nursing. Dr. Hendricks received her doctorate degree (Doctor of the Nursing Practice) with a concentration in executive leadership from Drexel University and she holds a master’s degree in nursing education. She is an inductee of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society for Nursing and is a graduate of the Baldrige Executive Fellowship Program.
