Leigh Burgess is formerly the vice president of research operations for Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health. In this role, she and her colleagues worked to advance the missions of Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health and the Dartmouth College research community, by developing and implementing strategic initiatives within basic, translational, and clinical research. Burgess supported a team of clinical research operations and administration staff and directed the administrative and operational functions of the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health system-wide Clinical Trials Office, Human Rights Protection Program, Office of Sponsored Projects, Research Nursing, Office of Technology Transfer, Central Research Lab, and Research Finance. Her past leadership experience includes graduate medical education, oncology quality, patient centered care, patient education, and research operations. Burgess is currently a doctoral student completing coursework towards her Doctorate in Business Administration.
