Lisa Stump is a successful chief information and digital transformation officer with a demonstrated history of leading complex digital initiatives. At Yale New Haven Health and Yale Medicine, she oversees strategic planning, development, implementation, and adoption of digital initiatives across the enterprise and co-leads the Yale New Haven Health Center for Healthcare Innovation. With over 25 years of experience in healthcare, Lisa has directed the development and execution of the data and technology roadmap, implementing many digital capabilities, clinical, financial, and business systems and partnered with early stage and innovative companies to develop new solutions. Lisa serves on the Connecticut HIT advisory council, where she supports statewide development of technology and data exchange policy and has served on multiple advisory committees to schools of pharmacy and health professions, regionally. Leveraging her background as a pharmacist and her leadership in health IT, she currently chairs the American Society of Health System Pharmacists’ Section for digital and telehealth providers. She earned her BS degree from the University of Connecticut and MS degree from The Ohio State University. The University of Connecticut awarded Ms. Stump the Distinguished Alumna honor and Sacred Heart University recognized her with the Community Partner Award. She has received accolades for her leadership in IT, including the CIO of the Year award from InspireCIO, Boston, and one of The Most Influential Women in Health IT recognition from Health Information Management Systems Society.
