Meredith Sciarrio is the AVP, Strategic Operations, Community Partnerships Division at Providence, and formerly the executive director of the division. As a member of the division’s leadership team, she directs divisional strategic planning and facilitates collaboration across the division’s diverse functional teams, which include community benefit/investment, community partnerships, environmental stewardship, global partnerships, government and public affairs, mission integration, philanthropy, PSJH’s commitment to mental health and wellness, and the University of Providence. She ensures the division’s alignment and compliance with organizational strategic and financial planning, budgeting, and goal setting. Sciarrio oversees the division’s portfolio of initiatives and manages a team of project and program managers to support these initiatives and divisional evaluation and reporting systems. She also advances key strategic, cross-functional initiatives of large complexity and scope to create measurable impact in communities served. Prior to joining Providence, Sciarrio was a research assistant and fellow for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and has a background in strategic consulting and operations. Raised in New Hampshire, Sciarrio holds an MBA from the University of Washington and BA from Boston College. She lives in the Seattle area with her spouse.
