Felisa Schneider, Chief Operating Officer

Felisa Schneider is the Chief Operating Officer of The Carol Emmott Foundation. As the first team member of The Carol Emmott Foundation, Felisa grew the organization from its inception as a fellowship program within the Public Health Institute to an independently operating 501(c)3 non-profit. As COO, she holds P&L responsibility, manages a team of national contractors, and drives decision-making around the Foundation’s initiatives. She has extensive experience as an operations professional, specializing in building business infrastructure for start-ups and developing teams based on a culture of communication, transparency, and inclusion.

Felisa is additionally the Executive Director of the Health Alliance, a 501(c)6 non-profit which fosters a network of senior executive women leaders in healthcare from across the nation and is principal of her own consultancy. She continuously looks for opportunities to support women in business and is passionate about driving gender equity across industry.

Felisa received her bachelor’s degree from Smith College. She has completed studies at the Sorbonne in Paris and received her Executive Program of Nonprofit Leaders Certification from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
